203-222-0885 anevas@levettrockwood.com Andrew practices primarily in the field of civil and matrimonial litigation, representing both corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of matters in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitration proceedings. He has litigated numerous matters involving, among other things, divorces, custody disputes, proceedings to establish, modify and/or enforce parenting plans and support orders, prenuptial agreements, construction contracts, commercial and residential leases, real property disputes, mortgage foreclosures, commercial and residential property tax appeals, employment disputes, probate appeals and the defense of medical malpractice and premises liability actions. Andrew has been involved in several appeals before the United States Court of Appeals and the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts. He has extensive experience in both bench and jury trials. He is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut and before the United States District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Tax Court. Andrew is a member of the American Bar Association and Connecticut Bar Association, as well as the American Inns of Court. He served as President, Young Lawyers Division, Lower Fairfield County of the Connecticut Bar Association in 1993-94, was a member of the Westport Charter Revision Commission in 1999-2000, and a Director of the Bank of Westport from 1997-2004. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Westport Public Library. Andrew has practiced law in Connecticut since 1989. He received his undergraduate degree from Union College in 1983, and is a 1989 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the American Criminal Law Review. He lives in his home town of Westport, Connecticut with his wife and two children.
