Madeleine joined Levett Rockwood in 1981 and became responsible for developing and managing its litigation department. Her cases have involved almost every aspect of business litigation in federal and state court, including disputes involving contracts, intellectual property, unfair competition, securities fraud, corporate governance and employment issues.

For many years she served on the Executive Committee of the Federal Practice Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. She also has been appointed to a number of posts by the United States District Court Judges in Connecticut, including serving from 1996 to 2002 as counsel to the Grievance Committee of the United States District Court and serving on the Magistrate Merit Selection Panels from 1983 to 1992. In addition she has served as a trial referee for the Connecticut Superior Court.

Selected as a member of the American Arbitration Association Roster of Neutral Arbitrators in 2001, Madeleine has arbitrated many complex business disputes, including matters involving multi-million dollar damage claims.

Madeleine graduated from Cornell University (Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi) in 1961 and Yale Law School in 1976.
