Russ has a varied business law practice that includes mergers and acquisitions, financings, commercial contracts, and corporate formation and governance. In addition, he assists all aspects of the firm's commercial real estate practice, including purchases and sales, leasing and subleasing, and environmental compliance. As a Silicon Valley native, Russ also teams well with clients requiring advice on software licensing, website reviews and other information technology matters.

Russ received his law degree from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he served as Senior Articles Editor of the William
& Mary Environmental Law & Policy Review and as a research assistant to two professors.

During law school, Russ held intern positions at the United States Attorney's Office in New Haven and in the corporate and real estate departments at Kaufman & Canoles, P.C., a leading southeastern Virginia law firm.

He received his undergraduate degree in 2001 from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where he graduated with high honors while majoring in history and government.

Russ is a member of the Connecticut bar and its Real Property Section. He currently resides with his wife and son in Newtown, Connecticut.
